We take patient confidentiality extremely seriously at Chase Dental Care and all personal information is treated in the strictest confidence. Only members of staff have access to patient information and we have a strict confidentiality policy.
We have in place some of the following measures:
Consultations are conducted in a private room
You may be chaperoned
We will only share information with your permission
We will involve you in the treatment process
You have the right to refuse or accept treatment
We will store your records in line with The Data Protection Act 1978
ACCESSING YOUR RECORDS
Under the Data Protection Act 1978 you have the right to access your records. Chase Dental Care fully supports this legislation and will endeavour to supply copies of patient’s records within a reasonable timescale upon written request- there may be a charge for this.
